How we handle your information

Skill Reality Inc. is responsible for information submitted through this website. This notice covers the website only. Information handled by the Skill Reality product during a pilot is governed by the separate agreement with the customer running that pilot.

What we collect and why

The two forms on this site collect your email address. The investor deck request also asks for your name and firm. We use these to review your request and send the deck you asked for, or to respond to your enquiry. If you email us, we also receive whatever you include in your message. Please do not send sensitive personal information or confidential workplace material.

Submitting a form does not add you to a marketing list. We may follow up with you once about your request. Tell us if you would rather we did not.

Each form also contains a hidden field that only automated bots fill in. We use it to discard spam. Our request handlers note the requesting address briefly, in memory, to limit bursts of submissions; this is not kept.

Our hosting and email providers generate technical records as part of delivering the site and your email: IP addresses, request times, browser information and email delivery status. These support delivery, abuse prevention and reliability.

Who processes it

• Vercel hosts the website and runs the two request handlers.
• Resend delivers email. A deck request sends a notification to our team and a confirmation to the address you gave us; the deck itself is sent personally. A waitlist request sends a notification to our team so we can reply to you.

These providers may process information outside Canada, including in the United States, where local laws apply.

Analytics and cookies

This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising scripts. If we add analytics in future, we will update this notice before it is switched on and add a consent prompt where one is required.

How long we keep it

We keep website enquiries for 12 months, then delete them from the records we control. Provider logs follow those providers' own retention settings.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the information you submitted, or to stop following up. Write to hello@skillreality.com. We may need to confirm it is you, and we will tell you if there is a limit on what we can do. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Changes

If this notice changes, the effective date above changes with it. Material changes will be noted on this page.
