Guidance in the field of view, not on a screen across the room
Skill Reality is device-agnostic. Steps display in the worker's field of view. The camera captures verification frames. Live on Meta Ray-Ban Display today, in testing on RealWear, Vuzix and XREAL.

One procedure, the right device for the work
Skill Reality is designed to be device-agnostic. A procedure is authored once in Forge, not rebuilt for each headset. Meta Ray-Ban Display is live today: lightweight consumer-grade glasses workers can wear through a full shift without discomfort. RealWear Navigator, Vuzix and XREAL are in testing. No continuous video is recorded on the device.
Device status
Where each device stands
| Device | Status | Suited for |
|---|---|---|
![]() | Live | Lightweight everyday glasses with an in-lens display and camera. Suited to long shifts on food, beverage and warehouse floors. |
| RealWear Navigator | In testing | Rugged head-mounted display built for industrial work. Suited to maintenance and field service in loud, gloved environments. |
| Vuzix | In testing | Lightweight enterprise smart glasses. Suited to pick, pack and receiving and other warehouse tasks. |
| XREAL | In testing | Station-based and inspection work. Camera options vary by model; verification needs a camera-equipped setup. |
| Other smart glasses | Planned | We prioritise new devices based on design-partner feedback. |
How it works
From pairing to logged session in three steps
01. Glasses pair with the worker's phone or access point
The glasses connect to a phone or plant access point for procedure delivery. No custom hardware or dedicated gateway is required.
02. Steps display in the field of view
Guided steps appear in the worker's line of sight. The camera captures a verification frame at each critical step. Workers stay hands-free throughout.
03. Session syncs to the compliance log
When connectivity is available, the session log, including step completions and verification results, syncs to the compliance record automatically.

Device support and design
Live on Meta Ray-Ban Display
Built on Meta Ray-Ban Display. Workers can wear these glasses through a full shift.
Lightweight form factor for food, beverage, and warehousing
Meta Ray-Ban Display fits into food and beverage and warehousing environments without requiring additional PPE accommodation in most cases.
Designed to work over standard Wi-Fi or LTE
No specialist connectivity is required. The platform is designed to operate over the plant or DC Wi-Fi network, with LTE fallback where supported.
No continuous video recording on the device
The glasses do not record or store continuous video. Camera frames captured at verification steps are retained with faces blurred; retention period is customer-configured.
Coming next: Support for more smart glasses and wearables. We are evaluating form factors based on design-partner feedback.
