Task guidance
Real-time, step-by-step instructions delivered to a worker as they perform a procedure.
Task guidance presents procedure steps one at a time to a worker as they perform a task. The worker advances through each step in sequence rather than reading a full document before starting.
Effective task guidance reduces errors by eliminating the need for workers to memorise sequences or interpret a multi-page procedure document in the middle of a task. It is especially valuable for infrequent, high-stakes procedures such as changeovers, maintenance tasks, and critical-step verifications.
Skill Reality delivers task guidance on smart glasses and wearables, keeping the worker’s hands and attention on the work. Each step is confirmed before the next one appears. Completion of every step is logged automatically.
