Frontline worker

An employee who performs hands-on work in a plant, warehouse, or field environment.

A frontline worker is someone whose job requires them to be physically present at a workstation, production line, or field site. They perform hands-on tasks and typically work alongside equipment rather than at a desk or computer.

Frontline workers include production operators, maintenance technicians, quality inspectors, sanitation crews, and warehouse associates. They rely on paper procedures, verbal instructions, or memory to do their jobs in many plants today.

Skill Reality is designed specifically for frontline workers in food, beverage, manufacturing, and warehousing. The product delivers guidance where the worker is, in their line of sight, so they do not need to stop working to consult a document.
