Step verification

Automated confirmation that a procedure step was completed correctly.

Step verification uses a camera or sensor to confirm that a required action was performed correctly before a worker can advance to the next step in a guided procedure.

Manual sign-offs and paper checklists rely on the worker’s self-reporting. Step verification removes the self-reporting requirement by capturing objective evidence: a photo, a confirmed visual check, or a sensor reading. The result is stored automatically in the compliance record.

Skill Reality uses the glasses camera to perform step verification at designated critical points in a procedure. There is no continuous video. At critical steps, the picture is kept with faces blurred. Your employer sets how long pictures and records are kept. Workers who fail a verification step receive a prompt to retry before advancing.
